Happy Anniversary, Twitterstorians!
A year ago today, I was curious about how to find other historians on twitter. I began by casually asking, and was inundated with replies. I compiled these into the #twitterstorians list, which you can see on this site by clicking on the tag "twitterstorians".
The term has also become a useful hashtag on twitter for finding posts on historical topics. I have made the (virtual and real) acquaintance of a number of historians through twitter, and found links to articles, blogs, and videos that I would not have known about otherwise.
So, thank you to all the #twitterstorians for sharing historical thoughts on twitter and elsewhere on the web, and to all of those who have retweeted and passed on messages to help us find one another.
